Hamster has revealed that the following entry in its long-running Arcade Archives collection goes to be Jaleco’s Rod Land.

Lead characters Tam and Rit (participant 1 and a pair of respectively) zap enemies with a magic rod, however this does not kill them – as a substitute, they’re merely surprised and the participant has to slam them into the ground to dispatch them fully.
The important thing distinction between Rod Land and different titles of this kind is that leaping is not attainable; as a substitute, the participant should utilise a collection of ladders to navigate every degree.
Like so many profitable arcade machines within the early ’90s, Rod Land was ported to a variety of dwelling codecs, together with the NES, Recreation Boy and Amiga.
The sport will launch this Thursday globally, at a price of €6.99 / £6.29 / $7.99.
